Interactive Car Tour

Taking an interactive guided tour of our Rampage funny car dragster, this section lets you view the car's interior and exterior with fully detailed viewpoint imagery for each part.

Hovering over different parts of the car will reveal active areas of viewpoint. These will be highlighted by a black keyline around a selected area. In order to zoom in closer to that section, simply click on each highlighted area. To zoom back out again click on any un-highlighted area within the frame.






Car Details

Built from several varying parts and elements, each and every dragster looks and drives completely individual. Getting to grips with exactly what we have under the hood and are currently racing with, this section contains detailed information of what the car is holding and built up from. Ranging from engine specs and fuel types, right through to car aesthetics such as our graphics and paintwork, we aim to offer a full vehicle analysis.

Engine

  • 875HP Mopar 440 Stroker engine (493) cu in, with a compression ratio of 11:1
  • Eagle 4340 forged crank and Eagle H bean rods
  • ROS forged flat top pistons with a sealed power rod and main bearings
  • Childs & Albert rings and Edelbrock Aluminium RPM heads
  • Moroso oil pan and Moroso % oil pick up
  • Melling high volume oil pump
  • Crane pushrods and aluminium roller rockers
  • Champion plugs and Comp cams lifters
  • Edelbrock torquer inlet manifold with a 2" spacer fuel pump 350 GPH electric automotive
  • Electrics MSD 7 AL-2 step
  • Holley 950 CFM HP carb
  • Meziere water pump
  • Zoomie stainless steel headers (fabricated by RS Fabrications)
  • 275 Big shot NOS kit with a progressive timer, running Sunaco 119 octane max NOS

Gearbox, Axle and Chassis

  • Torquflite 727 rev pattern c/w uprated cluth pack, B&M pro ratchet shift and TCI torque convertor.
  • 83/4" narrowed Chrysler c/w Aftermarket pro racing shafts with 119" CDS tube chassis.

Wheels, Fuel and Braking

  • Front centerline c/w Goodyear front runers sized 24" x 5" x 15" with rear centerline c/w Goodyear slicks sized 32" x 14.5" x 15".
  • The front brakes are strange ali calipers with rear steel calipers c/w green stuff performance pads. In order to stop the car at the end of the run we use a Simpson Cross form parachute.

Paint & Bodywork

  • Monza fibreglass funny car body, ex owned by Priddle/Page. Weighing 2100lbs.
  • Chromaflaire paint job supplied and applied by Carbody in Banbury.
  • Car graphics supplied and applied by De Signs.
